TheArcLink Incorporated is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization providing Internet services for people with disabilities and others who seek accessible Internet websites, information, and training.  FindMyRoommate is sponsored by a different agency in each state.  The privacy policy delineated here applies to all sponsors.  Some state sponsors may have additional privacy protections, but none offers less than what is described here.

We collect e-mail addresses of persons who register FindMyRoommate and who communicate with us via e-mail.  We also collect information about which pages are viewed, as well as information volunteered by the user.  We collect information to improve the content of our web site, and to allow users to communicate via the FindMyRoommate message system.  We also archive the contents of all messages in the message system.  Email addresses, information in posted listings, and archived messages will be shared only with the sponsoring state agency.  That agency will not share information beyond their FindMyRoommate staff except when communicating with registered users about matters pertaining directly to their listings.
